I like to stretch my own canvases and usually end up with many left over pieces of canvas that are too small for my larger stretcher bars but too big to throw away.  Thanks to my handy husband, we have made some custom size bars for these smaller pieces.  They are the perfect size for a pop of color in a small space!

Vanishing Point  measures 10" x 16".  This textural, abstract acrylic painting is on a gallery-wrapped canvas with the sides painted in a shimmery gray/black micaceous iron oxide.  The painting is signed on the side, dated and signed on the back. It is wired and ready to hang. A light coat of clear acrylic varnish has been applied to seal and protect the beauty of this painting.

Today I received an email from a collector who purchased one of my small paintings through Artful Home, one of the online gallery sites that sells much of my work.  I am so very touched that she reached out to me to let me know how much the painting means to her.

This is the email I received:

As artists, we frequently work alone and are not always aware of how the product of our hearts and hands will affect someone else.  From now on, I will make a conscious effort to be very mindful of that fact.  Our work is much more than paint and canvas...it conveys a spiritual message that touches hearts.  How amazing is that?!!

I am so thankful that God has blessed me with a talent that blesses others.
