This is a pictorial journal of a new painting I started yesterday. I don't start out with a preconceived idea in mind, so this is an adventure for you and me!
I stared with a textured 40"x40" canvas stretched on 1.5" deep bars.
After a few charcoal markings on the canvas, I'm ready to start painting.
At this point I decided to go to the garden to set out my tomato plants. The paint is still wet and I needed time to think about where to go with this. Stay tuned to see the finished painting. I think you'll be surprised how it ended up!
