It's a good thing that I don't get too emotionally attached to some of my paintings. I had a painting that I had done a couple of years ago, and although it was technically fine, it was just hanging there on the wall of a back bedroom. I took it down and decided to give it new life. The texture from the old painting turned out to be perfect for this abstracted floral.
I'll post a better picture tomorrow. I used a flash on this one, something I normally don't do, but the light was fading fast and I wanted to capture it before it got much darker.
