Original Contemporary Abstract Painting by Texas Artist Filomena de Andrade Booth

Days of Azure and Gold
24"x30"
Acrylic on Canvas
Sold

I've been looking through a lot of my older paintings from a few years back.  Sometimes they make great inspiration pieces for a new painting.  I found this "oldie" from 2006.

I am proud to announce that my work has been juried into another prestigious online art site - Artfulhome.  I will go "live" in about a week and will keep you posted.

Asian Memories - Abstract Collage by Texas Artist Filomena de Andrade Booth

Asian Memories
Collage
Sold
I was recently going through my files of art I have sold in recent years and came across this small collage I created in 2008. Although I normally paint on canvas, every once in a while I get an urge to dig through my collection of emphemera that I've amassed over the years. I love playing around with various shapes, textures and colors. This little piece was especially fun to create. Guess it's time to get to my drawer full of "junk" and see what I can find!
